Now, we’re bringing the Ludex experience to life with our first flagship retail location — a next-generation sports and trading card shop located in the heart of the Arlington Entertainment District near Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium.
We’re looking for a driven, knowledgeable, and community-focused General Manager to lead operations, build a world-class in-store team, and bring the Ludex vision to collectors in person.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily store operations, including sales, staffing, merchandising, and customer experience.
- Hire, train, and manage a high-performing retail team.
- Drive sales performance through customer engagement, promotions, and community events.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships (cards, supplies, memorabilia, etc.).
- Negotiate with customers to assess and purchase cards and collections, carefully balancing both their market value and resale liquidity.
- Create a fun environment for collectors, so that this shop becomes an integral part of the gameday experience, and a destination shop for collectors everywhere.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store layout reflect brand standards.
- Plan and execute special events such as live card breaks, player signings, and product releases.
- Maintain accurate financial and operational reporting.
- Uphold security and authenticity standards for trading cards and collectibles.
- Collaborate with ownership on marketing, social media, and growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of retail or hobby store management experience (sports, gaming, or collectibles industry preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for sports cards, TCGs (e.g., Pokémon, Magic, etc.), and the collectibles community.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and basic financial reporting.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and event days as needed.

Schedule & Expected Work Conditions/ Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds safely using proper techniques.
- Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods in a dynamic, high-energy retail environment.
- Flexible availability is required — this position regularly involves working evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations and events.
